Stephen Compton Newton

Stephen was born on December 26, 1944 and passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. Stephen was a resident of Williamstown, Ohio at the time of passing. Steve graduated from the Staunton Military Academy in Staunton, VA and from Marietta College with a bachelor's degree in history. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of Williamstown Legion Post #159, where he was the commander of the honor guard for military rites. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta. Burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery with masonic services and full military honors. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Thursday, December 28 at the funeral home.
