Fr. Stephen R. O'GARA

I had the honor of meeting Father Stephen during chemo at MN Oncology in Edina. It just so happen that his regular location wasn´t available so he had a treatment in Edina. God definitely meant for the two of us to connect and remain in contact during our journey´s. It was a great conversation that day and was fun for me to bring up many of my past Catholic priests in Shakopee who he knew. He had emailed to let me know his clinical trial at the Mayo was not working and he was no longer going...

Steve and I were neighbors in Redwoods, we became friends and enjoyed our conversations and our humor. I moved to CA but we continued our correspondence and friendship, he was such a wonderful human being, he gave the best homilies, short but filled with amazing messages. Heaven received him with joy and his Father welcomed him home with praise and thanksgiving for a job well done.
