I have known Stephen for more than 30 years. I can still remember meeting him, his enthusiasm and the way his smile always shown through his eyes. Stephen was very charming and you always felt special in his presence. Stephen was a great friend; I loved him and will miss him.

To Karen and all who LOVED Steve,
I did not have a chance to meet Steve last time I was in Calif. I feel like I had already met him from talking with Karen about Steve. Karen you were so good for Steve and so strong during his sickness. I hope that you can let all who loved you and Steve, take care of you in this time of loss. I never had the chance to know Steve, but I know what he meant to you. He sounded like a strong, brave, determined man who also had a real sense of adventure.
