Not sure what to say?

Uncle Steve,

I miss your kind voice. I miss your gentle laugh. I miss all the sleepovers with you and Aunt Debby. We miss you down here. I hope you and dad are enjoying each other's company. Hard to believe you left us 10 years ago.

Love,
Jessica

So sorry to hear about the loss of a former classmate. My memories of Steve from high school are of a nice, easy-going guy with a great smile and a twinkle in his eyes. To Steve's family, my prayers that your memories of him in happy times will transcend sadness and comfort you in the days ahead.

Debby,
I just heard about Steve. I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

Debby,

Carl and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. We will have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Love to you and your family

Debby,

Dickie and I were so sad to hear about Steve's passing. We remember stopping by to see you a few times on the way to Savannah, where we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with both of you. Steve always reminded me of a 'gentleman farmer'..I guess because he took such an interest in the beautiful plants and greenery around your place. I'm sure he's now an apprentice to the Master Gardener.... I know he was so sick for a long time...the agony must have been terrible for you...

Kenny,

When so many siblings never have any feelings for each other, it was great to hear that you and Steve were best of friends. You will have lots of memories of Steve.

Some of my early memories from Marvalingrove Drive and Ferguson Avenue:
- Mud wars in the creek
- Chase on the ropes in the trees at the Marshall’s
- The Waterfall at what is now Winterberry Subdivision.
- The fort at the lake/pond that became Weatherwood Subdivision (now Sheftall...

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Debby and family - We were so sorry to hear about Steve. I am grateful that you have a good support system with your wonderful and caring friends.

debby and family my prayers are with you.
