Not sure what to say?

Steve, you're always thought of out here in Colorado when I see the biker guys come through - Wish you could be here in person! I know you are in spirit because this is a beautiful place - you're always thought of buddy - never forgotten!

You've been gone for almost 9 years daddy, but as the days, weeks and even years pass ..I still think about you everyday, and I know you're in a better place up there looking down on me making sure I'm okay but it's hard when I just want you here with me. I love you so much and thank you for everything you did for me you were an amazing dad and I am who I am today because of you. Rest in paradise daddy, till I see you again.. I love you.

I knew Steve growing up in South St. Paul on 12th Avenue. I have fond memories of Steve, that will remain with me for a lifetime, like Steve teaching me how to smoke and then laughing at me when I would start to cough. He always wore his black leather jacket, it was a part of him and one will never forget him wearing his parachute pants, break dancing and all the times at Saints West Roller Rink. As I recall, he had a smile for everyone and had a great laugh. Even though I lost touch with...

STEVE! Buddy! Many memories from high school and all the times we had met up since. Your passing is a HUGE blow to all of us. You will remain in the minds of many my friend - you will never be forgotten! My condolences to Steve and everyone affected by this tragedy. You can run around in ninja suits all day long where you are now man! Watch over us buddy! We all have a long road ahead of us. RIP!!

Nick, Travis, and family:

So sorry to hear about your loss. This has got to be heartbreaking. I will keep you all in my thoughts.

Jean Hausladen (Scott's mom)

Steve was a person of strong conviction. He made those around him feel special and will be deeply missed by those who knew and cared for him. My deepest sympathies go out to Shannon and his children. As long as he is remembered, he will forever be in your hearts. Steve and I were not close, but I hope he is happy in the realm of heaven. We will all miss him.

We have been a neighbor of Steve and his family for a couple of years. He truly was a great neighbor. He would take his snow blower and do the whole sidewalk on heavy snow fall days and he helped in the alley to. But what I remember most was his heroic efforts to get in a burning house across from him. He tried to save a little boy's life but was driven back by the flames. He will always be a hero to me Rest in Peace Big Guy and know you were loved by many Sue and Ron Williams

I met steve in elementary school and have many fond memories of him. we used to rollerskate at saints west roller rink and used to breakdance with our parachute pants on the corner of 8th avenue
