Not sure what to say?

Sophie and Boys,
Jim and I were terribly saddened by the news of Steve's passing. Thank you for some wonderful childhood memories. They will always be a part of my life. Now Steve will join so many of the other guys from the Card Club. They will be glad to see him. Take care and revel in the legacy he has left behind. Love, Marlene and Jim

We would like to express our sincerest condolences to the Palmieri Family.

To Sophie and the Palmieri Family,
My father (Bill Campanale) grew up with Steve on Shrewsbury Street and shared many good times together and had lots of memories also. They were really good friends. My father also shared many nights with you and Steve at Dunkin Donuts on Shrewsbury St. I used to see you and Steve at Mass at Mt. Carmel church. Just remember all the good times and the memories you have with him and somehow hope these will comfort you at this sad time. Our deepest...

This seems like the passing of a era for me. My whole concept of boyhood/manhood was founded on men like "Uncle" Steve. Passionate, capable, full of energy, a leader, someone to look up to. His home was always warm and generous, made so by the lovable "Aunt" Sophie. The boys were always visible and made for a raucous visit. He always made me feel like one of the boys. His visits to my house were special times. He would talk about sports, politics and his experiences. Lots of wisdom there if...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sorry for the loss of your father.

Your father really was a fixture on Shrewsbury Street. I can remember him always present when we were growing up whether it was at East Park, Mt. Carmel, the feasts and many others too many to mention.

My sympathies to your family. I know you will sorely miss him.

Remember and reflect on the happy memories.
