Not sure what to say?

Marla,

I'm sorry that I'm so out of it but I just learned about Steve's passing. I knew he was sick off and on as as talked a few times on the phone during his illness. I met Steve when we were next door neighbors in the office on Denton Tap. The termostat was in my office so we talked a lot. We stayed in touch over the years. I really enjoyed taliking to Steve and always planned to have him design and build my house. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I wish you all the...

Steve leased his office in Coppell where I was the property manager. He was a wonderful man and always spoke highly about you and his daughter. I never met either one of you, but I feel that I know you. What sad news that I heard today. You are in my prayers.

What a beautiful life and tribute. It was an honor for our team at Faith Hospice to help care for him. Marla, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Marla,

My deepest sympathies to you and Erin.

It says everything about Steve that he could leave his hometown so long ago, go out of state for college, and settle down hundreds of miles away, but still command the the thoughts, affections, and love of so many of us who knew him as a teenager in Kirkwood so long ago.

Our thoughts are with your family at this time of loss, words can not express... Steve was a wonderful man and this is a great loss for all of us, he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know and enjoy his friendship. Prayers for healing and strength for all.

Marla and Erin- words cannot express our sadness in your loss. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayer go out to Marla , Erin and the family.

Marla, I remember meeting Steve at a Pig Dinner at KSU and we have all been friends since that day in 84'.

We will miss Steve terribly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
love,
Debbie and Dave

Steve,
I know you are in heaven, but I wish you were still here.
I love you as a friend, builder of hopes and dreams and truly a man of unwavering ethics.
I will miss your beautiful smiling eyes, (which lit up even more when you talked about Marla and Erin) your smile, and most of all our long chats about raising kids, housing and everything including the kitchen sink :-)
I will miss texting with you during the K-State football games, you always had a positive and calm attitude...
