He always greeted me with a warm smile and caring attitude. I felt like everything would be ok because he was going to make sure that I received the best of care. He truly was chosen for his profession. Loved and missed always. He was a blessing to me.

My name is Keith Jones and I was a patient of his that needed a major lower back surgery. I had a herniation at L4/L5 and spinal stenosis, which when all is said and done, he said it was one of the worst cases that he's seen but he was extremely confident that he would correct it and actually make me better. Dr Pehler was my spinal surgeon. I traveled many times from New Mexico to Colorado just so he could be my doctor. I loved him. He was kind and compassionate, he gave me his personal phone number so I could reach out with any post operative issues. He was an amazing surgeon. I´m am devastated this world is existing without him in it. My deepest condolences to his son, parents, sister, brother in law, friends, colleagues, and patients.

When I met Dr. Pehler in 2020, I could barely walk due to a pinched nerve in my back. He was so understanding and confident I regretted not meeting him sooner. He helped me tremendously and I'll never forget him. I teased him about being a lefty, as I am. I was so sad to hear of his passing. He was such a nice, down to earth person. Dr. Stephen was my favorite doctor. He successfully perfumed spinal surgery on my lower back and followed up with him. I am deeply saddened by his passing. He cured me from an agenizing back pain & was a dear friend to our family. He is a loving & a wonderful person. I will miss him dearly and pray for his soul.
