Not sure what to say?

Uncle Steve was a loving and generous man. I'm glad I'm one of his nephews. As a kid,one of my fondest memories of him was that he usually fell asleep during the second feature at the Whitehall Drive-In unless it was a western or war movie. A trip to the Silver Diner followed the night at the drive-in. He will never be forgotten.

I was just told about Tyke..I am in shock over the loss of such a dedicated human being. He always had the heart of gold.He was always for the kids.He brought joy to many and was a very caring soul.Young Tyke I am very sorry for the loss of such a great man, your father. To many he was Tyke.To some he was also called "Dad".I remember giving him a good ribbing every time he would come into MacDonalds in Whitehall when I was working. He always had such a sweet smile and always gave me Hell right...

I remember Steve and his wife Buddy, they were great to all the children they knew and I have very special memories of both of them. My sincere sympathy to his family & friends.

To all of TYKES fans and friends: this man was exceptional in every respect and as the time passes will never be forgotten by his little and big buddys..and the lucky buck people will have special memorys..I will always remember my friend..see ya later buddy.

My husband, Ted Hall, sold Tyke tackle and shared a lot of conversation with him. He admired him greatly. When Ted passed, Tyke was quick to offer any help he could. He always sent me one of his lucky dollars. But that was Steve. He is not someone you forget.
