Dr. Polstein was one of the most wonderfully spirited people I have ever met. He was always even tempered and willing to listen to anything that you had on your mind. I never felt judged or discriminated by him in any way. He was a favored client as well as a great healer. I credit him for bringing me closer to more optimal health. My heart grieves for Sheila and Gavin because he was "one of a kind" and I know they will feel a void without him. My prayer is...

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Steve's passing a few months ago. Though we lost touch many years ago, I have always kept Steve in the highest regard. This was a man who was always doing and thinking of others before himself. He and I met in 1969 or 70 at Camp Blue Star, he was even then, one of the warmest, most down to earth people I had ever met. My thoughts and prayers go to his wife, son and the rest of his extended family, friends and everyone who's life Steve touched...

I really just can't believe he is gone.
He was always there when I needed his
amazing gift of helping the body heal.
His passing has really shaken me to the
core. It makes me realize how fragile we really are.
I only wish I could have been there for him in some way as he was for me so many times.
I send my thoughts and love to Gavin and Sheila. I hope Gavin will grow up
knowing how many people cherished his daddy.

To All of " Polstein's" Family,

As I read the messages that have already been sent to you, I'm sure it brings you great comfort that so many people that knew Steve(we referrred to him as Polstein back at NHS )felt impelled to share their feelings of loss for him with you. I too am greatly saddened and shocked, in a state of disbelief.
I have known Steve since kindergarten at Margaret Mitchell and graduated with him at Northside. The last time I spoke with him...

Just wanting to give my condolences to Dr. Polstein's family, friends & staff. It was such a shock to hear of his passing & I know he will be dearly missed by many. As one of his patients I always appreciated his fitting me into his busy schedule anytime I needed to come in. His office was friendly & welcoming & he was a wonderful chiropractor, I always felt so much better after a visit. My thought & prayers to his family for such a tragic loss.

I am so sorry to learn of Steve's passing. Steve was everywhere in Buckhead, it seemed. I will miss bumping into him at Henri's or Chastain and talking about our families and our mutual support of the Atlanta Public School system. His energy was contagious and he was truly a healer. The last time I had an appointment with him, I felt so much better immediately and I remember feeling that I was in the presence of someone with a rare gift. My heart goes out to all his patients for I know how...

What a shock to hear of Steve's passing. I was touched deeply by Steve's warmth and friendliness. I remember so fondly our conversations before yoga classes at Bikram and whenever we ran into each other around Buckhead. I, like so many of my family and friends, count myself blessed to be embraced by Steve's life and to have felt a friend of this special wonderful man. My heart goes out to the whole family. What a great loss you must feel.

The last time I saw Steve was several years ago at a local restaurant. Although it had been many years since we had seen each other, he just gave me a big hug and said how good it was to see me. The years have not erased that memory, and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed by all who knew him.
