Not sure what to say?

Every once in a while I will see someone from the side or in the distance that reminds me of Steve, and it brings back memories of him. The last 8 or 9 years I lived in Michigan we used to get together frequently, I miss that.
RIP Steve, you are missed.

I have so many fond memories of Steve so very long ago and recently reconnected with him. Rest in peace, Steve.

Thoughts & prayers to the Pontious family. He was a great classmate at Muskegon Catholic Central. May he rest in peace.

I will really miss Steve's great conversations full of intellect and wit. I would often run into him around town. Particularly, Meijers where he would run his cart into mine and say Hi. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Steve was my administrative assistant at IBM many years ago and is fondly remembered. He was a wonderful individual. My personal regrets to his family and friends.

My sincerest condolences to Steve's family. I didn't know his sons but he spoke of them often and with great affection. While we knew each other in High School we became friends at Community College. We kept in contact occasionally over the years but got together frequently after I returned to Muskegon in 2010. I enjoyed showing him some of Arizona the one time he visited. I will greatly miss the lunches at Panera in Muskegon over the last few years. Rest in Peace Steve, I will see you again.

Jim, Joe and John, sending love and prayers to you today. Everyone should have a longtime friend like Steve: fun, thoughtful, "argumentative", and never boring! You and your families were his focus and joy, as you know. Many cherished memories for all of us. Joanie, classmate and friend.

My condolences to the Pontious family. It was a pleasure to know such a fine person. I am also a fellow classmate from MCC Class of 61. Steve came to one of our lunches a couple years ago and it was so nice to see him. He will be greatly missed. R.I.P., Steve, R.I.P.
