Dear Sue:

I am so very sorry about Steve passing.I just found out today. I knew that he had been ill for some time, but never realized the severity of it.

I'll always remember him as being my best partner on the Great Lakes Police Department. The nights we went on stake-out, watching a broken down car; eating potatoe chips with no water for close to 8 hours was only one of the many memories I had of him.

Stephen was one of my mentors at Great Lakes Police when he was a Detective there. My wife and I remember when he worked as a vendor for the Navy Exchange. I remember seeing him at IPA meetings and enjoying his company. I have a memory of visiting at dinner time and having galumpkis with the family. I remember seeing him at the Zion Ice...
