A good man and what a long, productive and interesting life. I saw Steve at a couple of family weddings and remember that he went out of his way to locate me so I could chat with my Aunt Ruthie. He wanted the two of us to connect so we could catch up, I hadn't seen Ruthie in many years so I was really appreciative of his gesture. I also remember having breakfast with Steve and Ruthie and as I studied the menu Steve suggested I didn't worry about calories, just order what I wanted and enjoy...

Dear Popp family--So sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad, though his life was long and full of wonderful family, friends, and so many accomplishments. I remember the time several years ago I had the pleasure and honor to drive your Dad around PGC for a delightful game, and will always remember his terrific character and spirit.
