Not sure what to say?

I am shocked to learn of the passing of Stephen. I recall fondly the many instances we talked, and specifically about where IT was heading in the early 90's, and what technology still had in store for our companies. Stephen's calm demeanor, intelligence and abundant empathy will be surely missed by myself and my entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. RIP Stephen.

Dear Powers Family

I am shocked and saddened to learn about the tragic events. I am very sorry for your loss.

I am a business acquaintance thru the family business, Powers Fasteners, and I have worked and known Stephen for about 4 years now. I am truly sorry to learn of his passing. He was a very bright, energetic man who was honest, fair, and genuine. I cannot comprehend the emotion and feelings you are going thru as a family at this time and wish you find peace in knowing...

Tina, I don't know what to say... I just heard from Melissa Grigione about what happened after the reunion. It was great seeing you so long after junior high. God bless you and your family.

Dear Tina,

I was so saddened to have learned about Stephen. Although many years have passed since our childhood friendship, I would be remiss not to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. Stephen will live on in the lives of your children and in the memories you have shared.

With deepest sympathy,
Heather Demaree Comart

Dear Christina, Alexis and Sydney,
We just heard the terrible news about Stephen. May God bless you, and help you find comfort and peace during this difficult time. We will always remember Stephen's affectionate smile -- especially when he was around you and the girls.
With deepest sympathy,
Maria, Kerry, Lois and Anastasia Kessel

Dear Christina,

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of your grievous loss. No words can make the pain you and your girls are enduring disappear, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Powers family.

May the love you shared surround you, your memories bring you comfort, and time bring you peace.

Love,
Cynthia

Now that the wakes and funeral are over, I think it is important to keep Stephen's memory alive in our daily lives.

He had a smile that was contagious, a generosity of spirit that was unmatched and a love of family that will transend this earthly world.

I had the great fortune of knowing Stephen since he was a boy. He always made me feel good about myself and was honest and genuine. A true gentleman!

We skied, golfed and drank a few beers. I will miss him...

Dear Tina,

I was so sorry to hear today of your tragic loss. Stephen is just one of those people who stay with you! Although our friendship was in high school almost 25 years ago, his warmth, sense of humor, and kindness will never be forgotten and will always be missed. It was so wonderful spending time at the reunion with him and I will keep searching for the group photo that we took that night so I can send it to you. Please know that you and your daughters are in my thoughts...

Steve was a fraternity brother of mine at Stetson University. Although we were only in school together for one year, he was a good friend and I feel fortunate to have known him for that short time. My deepest sympathy and best wishes to all the members of his family in this difficult time.
