Not sure what to say?

Steve was a classmate at Culver-Stockton and someone everyone on campus looked up to. I followed his passion for photography. He produces some of the most dramatic landscapes I have ever seen. He will be missed by "the Hawks" and all the rest of us in his C-S family.

Our condolences on the passing of Steve. I could not believe the email from Ayn Owen. Steve was such an outstanding person, husband, father, grandfather and strong supporter for Decatur and MacArthur High School. My brother (Doug Hagen) was one of many friends of Steve and I was able to call or text Steve when I was looking for a picture or story (and there were many) . Steve was my lifeline to Decatur and I was able to keep informed of activities and individuals over the years . A great loss...

I worked with Steve at Spector Freight. He absolutely hated it, but always came to work, third shift, with a smile on his face and a story on his lips. Please know my prayers are going up and out for you, Beth, and yours. He was a wonderful person and I am glad he passed through my life!!!!

I was in the Lions Club with Steve in Bowling Green, and he was one of the most delightful men to talk to. I enjoyed our conversations at club meetings as well as at the library when he dropped in to hang his photography when the Sunny 16 Camera Club put up a display. He had so many interesting stories to tell, yet he was a great listener. Some folks absorb energy; Steve exuded it. He just glowed when talking about his family and when reminiscing about his time as a photographer and coach....

Mr Pyle was my wrestling coach at Woodrow Wilson jr high school. He taught me what having self confidence was .And he had a lot of confidence in me . And I still have that confidence till this day. Thank You Sir.

I will always remember the game he called civil war in gym class at Woodrow Wilson jr high school which really was dodge ball . He made the game really thrilling and boy could he through that ball hard.
