Not sure what to say?

One of the best teachers ever..taught me how to analyze, think, write, debate ideas ..always in a n exciting challenging way. Thank you Mr. Ridgely more than I can say.

Mr. Ridgely taught me how to write. He was a great teacher and mentor. When I became an English teacher I tried to live up to his expectations.

Mr. Ridgely was my favorite teacher in high school. I've tried to emulate his style of engaging students and making the learning relevant in my own classroom. Prayers and condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Ridgely. He was my favorite teacher in high school. He made English an interesting class and he will always be remembered. He led a wonderful, full life. Condolences to his family.

I am just sad. Selfishly,I'm sad because I miss the thought that Mr. Ridgely's sparkling, mischievous eyes are closed for a while until we meet up with him again. We all know that his indomitable spirit lives on in our hearts. He was a great teacher and friend.
Love to you, Mrs. Ridgely (Dolores) and family

Oh...the attached picture was one I did as a senior at LGHS. "Hell yes!" he'd say as he blew out the side of his mouth...see you later, Mr. Ridgely. :)

Titanic revisited? sailing with Scott Erbst & Tom Havens (1981)

Mr. Ridgely was more than just an english teacher to many of us who were lucky to have him influence our lives in one way or another. The attached pic of me (left) and Tom Havens (right) circa 1981 on our virgin voyage out of Santa Cruz harbor pretty much sums it up.
My sincere condolences to Mrs. Ridgely and family.

I considered Mr. Ridgely one of the best teachers I had. LGHS class of 1974. To his family, I am sorry for your loss.

He was one of my favorite teachers. He made Shakespeare come alive. Rest in peace sweet prince. Class of 1976

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Ridgely's passing. He touched a lot of lives.
