I am so sorry I'm so late with this message of sincere sympathy I had the privilege of meeting Stephen and Richard at Secession C,C club. The caddies loved it when the Roach brothers showed up. We fought to caddy for them. I won and I caddied for Stephen. What an experience!!!!! I now think of it as Spiritual TRULY. I for all Loved ones. God Bless. Caddy Mike.

Never forgotten.

I migrated to the Bahamas in 1999. I attended Maranatha SDA church when I met pastor Roach who was the pastor of Maranatha at that time. I spoke to him saying "I would like to go to study." I myself, I wanted to go back to Haiti to study, but for him he saw Jamaica would be better for. I wanted to go for teaching or computer science, but for him-Pastor H. A. Roach, he saw me in ministry. .

I visited the 9/11 Memorial on this beautiful September morning 18 years after Steve was taken in the prime of his life. The sky was blue like eternity. Steve's name caught my eye. As I read his story online, I imagined his children grown, their joys forever tempered by their loss. To all of Steve's family, please know that his memory is a blessing to strangers like me who lovingly touch the letters of his name engraved in the granite memorial.
