Steve and I sat together in high school choir. Although I haven't seen him since high school, I remember him as a good and happy fellow, and this summer, he was one guy I looked forward to seeing at our 50 year reunion. Unfortunately, that won't come to pass. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

This news was very hard to read. Steve and I go back many years and playing foot ball at WPA. He was one hell of a player. I was looking forward to looking him up when I got back to Racine. I live in Sydney Australia. I am sure he will be missed by many. Jesse Barker

To the Roberson Family, It Is a very sad day to see Steve has Passed. He was a year ahead of me at Park, but I knew him well. He was an incredible football player, but MOST of all he was a GENTLEMAN always. I know a person that played football for one of the Madison Schools, and never forgot playing against Steve. Pat was huge, but could NEVER get past Steve. Over 50 years Is a long time to remember a player. Pat passed two years ago. Perhaps they will meet again? My sincere sympathy.
