To the family: I knew Steve for many years as a schoolmate. He had a spirit about him that made you feel very comfortable in his presence. I was privileged to teach his sons, niece and nephew. I know you all will miss him terribly. Remember all that he did with you and for you, and he will live in your heart forever. The sadness you feel today will turn to happy memories in the years to come.
