Not sure what to say?

Always loved, never forgotten ... Little Bear Stephen A. Scoles.

Steve was such an incredible man! I was blessed to get to know him when I was little and Dad and I would go visit him. He never got mad at me as I played with his models and small planes. He was my Dad´s best friend and I loved hanging around them as they were always laughing and telling stories. There is no way I could have made it through my father´s unfortunate passing without Steve´s support, encouragement and guidance. He was brilliant, caring, considerate and fun. Fonnie,...

Love and miss that Little Bear!

Steve was my uncle through marriage but I loved him like my own blood. He was the toughest person I have ever met, to deal with so many health problems with such grace. He and I were shared many common interests and it was always such a privilege to spend time with him. He will be greatly missed by me and I will never forget him.

I'm sorry to hear Fonnie, that Steve FTER SO LONG LOST HIS FIGHT. HE really fought hard and was determined to win his battle but you cannot win every fight. Love always Christopher.

A great man who taught me a lot of values and I truly am a better man today for the influence he had on my life . In the hands of the lord now. Bob and Harold

Dear Fonnie and Family,

My condolences on Steve's passing. As a friend, co-worker and fishing buddy for 35 years, I know he will be missed. Steve was an all around great person. He was in severe pain most of his life but always maintained a smile on his face and that is how he lived his life and how I will remember him. His positive attitude and smile will be missed. Fonnie - Thanks for taking such good care of Steve and we all know it was not an easy job....

Roy...

My good buddy for over forty years. I feel a great loss as do many of you.

I have had much admiration and respect for Steve's deep intellectual insight and unbelievable wisdom; he was an inspiration to many of us who he shared his philosophical approach to life.

On a daily basis from an early age, Steve suffered with pain .. sometimes to a level of debilitation .. his complaints were few; he had phenomenal determination and perseverance!

Steve was my "search...

Fonnie,
I am so sorry to hear about Steve. I just want to let you know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I will always be so grateful to you both for visiting my dad - Steve's Uncle Don. It meant so much to him to spend time with both of you. It was very generous and thoughtful, and so appreciated.
