Stephen was born on July 16, 1953 and passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Stephen was a resident of Scranton, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. Born in Scranton, son of the late Benjamin and Lenore Jacobs Shaffer, he was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and went on to receive both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Scranton. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Dovid Saks. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
