Not sure what to say?

Hey, it's 6 years late, but I just found out about Stephen's passing! He was my psychiatrist for a period of 3 years in the early 00s. He was insightful and kind. He had a way of validating a person without patronizing them. He had a wry, very dry wit and a matter of fact way about him. He set me on the path to some pretty deep understandings. I wanted you, his family, to know that 20 years later he still stands out.

Dr.Sibalis, you're Greatly missed. You are a True example of Compassion and Professionalism. My life has seen a significant improvement since I last saw you. First, I couldn't believe it, when I saw a note of your obituary. Much Love to You and your Family. Thank You

Doctor Stephen Sibalis was an exceptional physician who was always there when I needed him. Although only with him for a year, he provided excellent care and did his best to treat me when I required help the most. I will remember Mr Sibalis not only as a physician but also a beautiful human being who was a kind-hearted, generous man. Cheers Doctor Sibalis, here's to you.

Dr. Sibalis was a rarity both as a physician and a human being. He was kind, compassionate and a gifted physician. For the past 10 years, I saw Dr. Sibalis twice a year - our appointments marked the start of Winter and of Summer for me and I will greatly miss seeing him. My deepest and most sincere condolences to his family for their immeasurable loss. Thank you Dr. Sibalis for positively impacting my life - I will forever carry you in my thoughts and memories

I was a patient of Dr. Sibalis. After 6 years of struggle to get an assessment and a conclusive diagnosis for my ADHD and autism, Dr. Sibalis was the one who finally diagnosed me. He prescribed me ADHD medication, and when all the standard ADHD medications failed, he went along with my suggestion to try a different medication that helped an ADHD friend of mine. His willingness to try something out-of-the-box led to blessed relief regarding my most debilitating ADHD symptoms.

I never personally met Dr. Sibalis. However, I had the opportunity to speak with him a few times over the phone and I could not get his voice out of my head. A very soft spoken man; it was as if his voice had a melody that smooth your soul. I was really saddened to hear of his death. My sincere condolences to his family.

Highly respected by his colleagues, Dr. Sibalis will be greatly missed. He was known for his passion for knowledge, maintaining a website of information for patients and staff. He was dedicated to his work, and spent long hours in the hospital when he was on-call. At the same time, he always went home for meals and to spend time with his family. May he rest in peace.

Stephen was a high school friend and I have happy memories of his great sense of humour whenever we chummed around with Doug, Mike and others in St.Lambert. He had a quick mind and could add a funny comment usually with great animation and expression. He was also a very kind and caring person who never had a negative thing to say about anyone. My sincere condolences to his family.
