When I saw Steve's name in the obituaries today, I was flooded with fond memories of him. He was a fun-loving colleague, serious about his teaching, a supporter of teacher rights, a compassionate father, and a loving husband. "A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches." Steve leaves behind his good name. I'm honored to have known him and remember his name.
