Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was my manager in Canton & a friend. We both lived in Mansfield at the time & often commuted together. He loved talking about his family & his days of playing frisbee. He will be missed.
My condolences to his family

I am glad that I had the opportunity to know Smitty and that he is a part of my fond memories of Camp Norwich. I am hopeful that he is in a better place.

Steve "smitty", it was an honor to have met and worked with you. I could always count on you and couldn't wait to talk about the sox or the last weekend fishing trip. You were full of knowledge and I really thank you for everything, you will never be forgotten and I'm happy to know your resting easy and looking down on us pain free. You have left a great legacy, and will be missed by many, see you later little buddy.

So sad to hear of this. I'm grateful I had the pleasure of having you as my manager, and I will always be thankful that you hired me. Your shifts were always fun, and I would truly enjoy being at work when you were there. You were so easily approachable and always smiling. Thank you for being a fantastic boss. Rest peacefully.

So sorry to hear of your passing Steve. You were a great manager to work for; you were fair, fun, and overall, just a nice guy. I'm glad to have met you and will cherish the memories I have of you. May your soul rest in peace.

Steve, I knew you from Longmeadow growing up in the same neighborhood and then from Camp Norwich. We both attended U-Mass HRTA but you were ahead of me there. I had the good fortune to reconnect with you via Facebook last year but you never mentioned that you were sick we just talked like nothing had changed over 30 years. I am so sad to find out that you were suffering for a long time and that I did not get home in time to stop in at "Max" to say hello. The photo attached to this web page is...

R.I.P SMITY ONE OF THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS...IT WAS A HONOR TO WORK WITH YOU

Words cannot express how much you are missed. Rest in peace my friend. Thank you for all the memories; and for always putting up that deep pass. It was truly an honor.

Smitty, You will be missed my old friend. I miss you already. You are at peace.
