Steve was about a good friend as a guy could ever ask for growing up. We lived on the same block, had adjoining paper routes for the Rocky Mountain News for several years.....always had chocolate milk when the milkmen came, we traded papers for the milk. Some times, we would ride our one speed bikes "paper boy specials" to Morrison and Red Rocks. We spent some early summers at my parents cabin along with Larry Ehrlich ...where...when we went to bed with our .22 rifles and scared each...
