Not sure what to say?

I knew Stephen as a friend in Junior High, High School and college at the Univ of Maryland. He was my escort for my senior prom from Eastern High school for females in June 1958. We shared a great love for opera and he was an inspiration for me to convert to Catholicism. I loved him dearly and had great respect for him as a true gentleman. My condolences to his family on their great loss.

Britt--So sorry to read of Steve's passing. I often think of you both as I go to my daughter's home not too far from your home in New Canaan.. The years have gone by swiftly as we all were "buds" in NC Newcomers so long ago. Peace to you, Nina and her family. He will be missed by all.
Keep his Happy memories near and dear to your heart. Blessings and God's love, Phyllis Kaschub

I was employed as a dental hygienist by Stephen Sovich, first on Elm St. and then on Weed St. in New Canaan, CT for almost 10 years. He was a very good dentist - really taking the time to understand and treat his patients - and a fair boss. I remember his intelligence and curiosity as well as his love for his wife Britt, daughter Nina Alexandra and dog Lorenzo. I was sorry to hear of his passing but feel peace in knowing that he accomplished so much of what he wanted to do in life.

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

One of my best memories of Steve was at a gourmet group dinner. We were supposed to dress as our favorite Christmas character or whatever. He came dressed as a Christmas tree. He was all in green, in the shape of a tree and strung with lights. He kept running around to find nearby electric plugs. It...

i'm so sad to hear this, he was a great guy as well as a great dentist. I met him as a neighbor when he moved to town in 1972/73 and was my dentist for the next 30+ years. My deepest sympathy to Britt-Marie, Nina and his family.
