Not sure what to say?

Don't know why I have been thinking of Steve so much. I was shocked too hear of his passing. I was his golf pro at Gleneagles in Plano and we shared a lot of good times together on the practice area and course. He was so much fun. He will be missed by many. Respectfully, West Hilzer

I am so shocked to hear this. Steve was a light in the world. I will love him forever.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. In the reading of his obituary, it brought back a lot of great memories and smiles from the days that Steve and I were good friends, attended Oregon together, and shared a house off of Patterson with all those other Madison Boys( Big D, Whitey,Gilp, and a few others.) I did not attend high school at Madison, but Steve and I and a lot of others became friends thru the countless hours we played and won pick up basketball games in the old East...

To Steve's entire family I want to send condolences from the Vern Sprouse family cousins. Although we lost contact many, many years ago I remember Steve, Marie and Paul. You would have known me as Mary Ellen. I am so sorry for your loss. Mary (Sprouse) Duff

Marie and family,
I was so sad when I heard of Steve's passing. I have very fond memories of him and the Jason Lee days growing up. He, my brother Perry, Terry, Paul, Jim and the Parr boys, what a band of brothers they were! You are all in my prayers during this time.

I will miss Steve and I am so saddened by his death. We talked about a visit together on one of his Portland trips...it never happened and I am sure wishing it had. Great high school memories with Steve. My prayers go out to his wife and children

Thanks for the good times with Anne Bunick in the early 80s. So much fun! Wouldn't have missed you for the world. Karen Sheridan
