Not sure what to say?

I´m so sorry to read of Steve´s sudden passing this past week. Steve was our cardiac rehab director twice while I worked there and brought a calming presence to our meetings. Steve was the prime example of "giving work to the busy person", as it seemed he headed up multiple departments, but always maintained his calm and friendly manner. Please accept my sincere condolences; God always takes the good ones way too soon. Cathy Donegan, RN

Sorry I could not attend the services and so sorry for your loss. Steve was a cherished friend, respected colleague, and accomplished professional and we are all richer for his presence.

I am so sorry for your and our WG family's loss. I just found out otherwise I would have hugged and chatted with you. He will be missed at our next reunion and I will try to practice a little harder to honor him. He was always a sweetheart and so patient with this cymbal player. ~ Cindi F Class of 77

I worked at St. Joe´s with Steve. I was in the public relations department so if we had any media inquiries about respiratory services, Steve was my go to guy. He was always professional and very knowledgeable. I remember him as a really nice guy. I also lived in Marcellus, so we had that in common. I am so sorry for your loss. My husband died four years ago, so I can relate to the big ache in your heart.

You have our heartfelt Sympathy for your loss . Sending prayers and blessings in this difficult time. Love Stas and Elke

I had the absolute pleasure of being able to call Steve friend for a lot of years . Worked with him at St Joes as a respiratory therapist and eventually my boss . Lots in common, hunting fishing ,drum corp, and of course our love for baseball. Always told him he rooted for the wrong team as I have always been a diehard Red Sox fan . Made for lots of great harassing. Steve had a heart full of compassion both for his patients and also his employees . I will miss you so very much. Hugs to everyone.

I was fortunate to have worked closely with Steve for many years at SJH. He worked tirelessly to care for our patients and staff. Despite his many responsibilities, he always had time for a quick chat about his kids exploits, Yankee baseball or local sports. Just a real genuine person with a ready smile and empathetic heart. It was a true pleasure to have known Steve and he will be sorely missed.

Swierczek Family - we are so deeply sorry for your loss. Steve was a genuinely great man, husband, father and neighbor. He loved and supported all of the kids on "The Terrace" as if we were his own. Cherish all the beautiful memories of a life well-lived! He will be deeply missed by all who knew him!

Steve was a great guy, always smiling and proud of his family. He was at every Solvay Bearcats game watching his son Steven play. I loved seeing him and son Steven at the Syracuse Crunch games. He will be missed by many that knew him. My condolences to Pamella the family.
