Not sure what to say?

To Steves' Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We knew Steve from our many years of camping together.

To Steves' Family:
My family was shocked to hear of Steves passing, he was a very dear friend of our family for many, many years. I can remember camping with him and your parents at Country Village. He would pull the wagon ride each weekend and bring his boat and take the older kids to the lake to waterski. Then we continued our camping at Smokerise for many years after that. When he would stop to visit or we saw him in the city he was always cheery and loved to visit and remember old...

Dear Jean and Carol,
I was saddened to hear in church last Sunday that Steve was ill, and then so surprised to read that he had passed away so quickly. Our families go back a long way, we've lost our parents and now our brothers. So terribly sad.
I'll always think of Steve when I'm at the Grand Union, it seems he was there almost every evening, helping out and visiting.
I'm keeping you all close in thought during these difficult days.
Love, Linda Smatresk Mackin

Jean, I just wanted to say how
sorry I am to hear of the loss
of your brother.

I have admired your years of work in PUMC . We enjoyed the shop where we visited with your
great father.

I hope you are well and content.

To Steve's Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

My name is Kevin Volz. I live directly across from Steve's house. I have only lived there a few months but in that time I have had the pleasure of many conversations with Steve. Whenever I was coming or going and Steve was outside he would always give a cheerful hello. Sometimes, over the summer and early fall, we would sit across from each other conversing, he on his porch; me, in my yard. I grew to like him quite a bit. We even...

To Jean and Carol,
I am so sorry to hear about Steve. We lived in the neighborhood and I grew up knowing your Mom and Dad.
Steve and I were in school together starting with kindegarten. He always was anxious to talk and had a smile on his face when I've seen him over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I am sorry I will not be able to attend his funeral as I have to be out of town on Friday.

To Jean & Carol,
I am so sorry to hear that your brother, Steve had passed away. My prayers are with you and your family during this hard time.
I am sorry to say I can't make the funeral due to my granddaughter's birthday party is at the same time.
Carol, please call me to let me know how you are doing 802-282-4893 is my home number. God be with you all during this hard time.

To Steve's Family
Steve worked with my dad (Jersey) at Killington Motors. My dad
passed away last April, at the age of
91..He was in Mountain View Nursing Home..Steve was so kind to go visit my Dad whenever he could and we did appreciate the time he spent with my father, talking over old times
God Bless You and Your Family...I am sure Dad and Steve are having a beer and talking once again

Dear Jean, Carol, and Charlotte,
I am so sorry about your loss. I've been praying constantly for him since I received news of his illness.

We go back a long way, when my Ralph was alive, and me, delivering negatives and plates to Bob. Steve was always there adding to the conversations.

Now, he's in a better place. Our Lord is watching over him, and you too.

With deepest sympathy,
Sue Smith
