Stephen James Thornton

On the anniversary of Steve's passing, it is with great sorrow that the memory of our time working together comes back into focus. Too young, too much future ahead, too much missed. Words are inadequate at these times. Just know that he made a difference in my life. Be thou at peace.

Dear Kathy, Amy and John,
Remembering our days on Columbia Street and all of the wonderful families that grew up together! I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. Steve was a great kid - and a good boy to watch as I do remember babysitting the Thornton kids! Please know that so many care and are thinking of you during this time. You continue to be in our prayers.

Dear Thornton Family,
We are very saddened to learn of Steve's passing. I called my dad when I saw the obituary in the paper. We reminisced about so many fond memories of Steve in the store. He was five years older than me and I used to make special trips to the store "for my mom to check on my dad" ...translation...watch Steve. Even then he was so kind and patient and always had the biggest smile on his face. He was never annoyed by my sisters and me hanging around to "help" him...

To family and friends , so sorry for your loss . The bible offers the best comfort at this time. At John : 28,29
