Not sure what to say?

I had only a brief acquaintance with Steve, as he did a little work on our windows. He was very happy to get a break from illness and do a bit of carpentry, under his company name - 'Eyeball Home Fixin's'. It was a pleasure to know him, and benefit from his fine hand work.

Steve Tippens' life was an example of Christian service that inspires us all. We send our love and prayers to Patty and her wonderful family.

Steve was a wonderful neighbor and friend in faith. We are grateful we are among the many he touched with his warmth, music, talented skills and love for Christ. Our love and condolences go out to Patty, Sean, Chris and Jenny and your wonderful family. We celebrate with you Steve's abundant life and God's promises in the life to come! With sincere sympathy, Mike and Kimberly Craft.

My prayers go out to the family for your loss of a very special man. He was my first "real" boss when I started working at UMPH. I was 20 years old and worked with him for 10 years until he retired. He was the best...he was always there to answer questions and be helpful as I was learning about Human Resources.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Tippens passing I remember Mr Tippens and my daddy Dr Horace R Weaver who passed away in 1997 used to play tennis together for a while at the tennis courts by Centennial Park I remember meeting him for the first time and he was a remarkable person and I thought we was nice too May the Lord Jesus comfort aallin this difficult time

Steve was a very special friend and spiritual leader for me. He not only challenged my thinking but he never forgot to convey the love of God to all of us. I will miss him but remember that he is with our dear Savior.

I'm sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a vital part of Blakemore as I was growing up. My thoughts are with you.
