SCHAUMBURG - Stephen Troy Triphahn, 61, was born March 23, 1959 and passed away January 4, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Michelle M. Triphahn. Devoted father of Lauren (Roman) Barraza, Brittany (Mike Cherry) Triphahn and Cortney (Justin Schultz) Triphahn. Loving grandfather of Sophia, Mila, Adreyan, Madison and Koby. Cherished son of Barbara (Howard) Abraham and the late Donald Triphahn. Caring brother of Jonathan Triphahn and the late Scott Triphahn. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Steve will be remembered for his larger than life personality, always quick to share a joke just to see the smile on your face. Not sure what to say?

I recently heard of Steve's passing - news that comes with much sadness. He was a great friend and colleague. I admired his integrity and he was always someone I could count on. I'll truly miss Steve for his professionalism, good nature, and humor, but his memory will be a blessing. I offer my sincerest sympathy and prayers to the Triphahn family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family. If you need anything, please let us know.

To the Entire Triphahn family,
My prayers are with you during these tough times.

Steve was a class act. It was always a joy to be around him.
Aside from a long time business relationship, I was able to enjoy Steve's company outside of work. I remember the many laughs we had at bowling. He will certainly be missed.

God Bless the Triphahn's

Heartfelt condolences to the whole Triphan family, Steve was such a loving, giving, and kindhearted person. From the many years of knowing him from Sears Centre to Hilldale Golf Course he a;ways made me smile and was so enjoyable to be around. We lost an Angel on earth but I am sure he is watching over all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. His smile will be missed.

It is with a heavy heart that we try to put into words the loss of my friend Steve. Never having a big brother I always felt Steve filled that roll.

The entire Triphahn family has always been a source of inspiration to our family. My father not only was a friend with Don and Barb, but was inspired by the talent of his 3 sons.

The only other job I had was at W-T Engineering with Don, Barb, Scott, Steve, and Jon.
