Steve was often a mentor to me when I was growing up, he taught me hunting techniques and life lessons. He and my father were not just cousins, but friends and hunting partners for many years. He always took time to make kids feel special no matter whose they were. As they years passed work took me on the road, but when I would see Steve we would quickly fall back into those old times that were very special to both of us. He will be surely missed.
