Stephen Alexander Turner

I was so sad to hear about Steve´s passing. I would always go through the speedy checkout and give him a hard time. I looked forward to seeing him... he seemed like someone who was just a genuinely nice man. He will be missed by myself and many others.

I will miss him at Albertson's. He once told me " you only die once but live everyday". Those words stuck with me. He made everyone feel seen as he shared his ray of sunshine with everyone he encountered.

I will miss seeing him at the checkout. I always enjoyed speaking with him at Albertsons. He will be missed.

I never knew Stephen well. I was simply a customer at Alberstons, but I´m in guest services, and any time he greeted me or stopped to ask how I was doing, there was something genuine about him few people these days have. He had genuine empathy, and kindness. I remember thinking, "The way this guy makes me feel seen and appreciated is something I want to make people I serve feel." He was an inspiration and I wished I´d stopped to talk with him longer.
