RIP My Wonderful Friend!

The entire Moraw family sends our deepest condolences and regrets to Phyllis and the entire VanderVeen family upon just getting notified of Steve´s passing! I Carl Moraw Sr and my family were back door neighbors to this fine family and privileged to have been a friend to Steve and his family for many years! Uncle Steve was a good man. He and my dad shared a wry sense of humor, which I inherited. I'm glad I got to spend some time with Steve in 2019. He was a family man, and made us all feel like part of his family, and he made a mean vodka soda. He will be missed.

Phyllis & family, So sorry to read of Steve's passing. I didn't know Steve real well because he was a few yrs. ahead of me at St. Marys. And Phyllis I always remember, as a former neighbor in the St. Stans Polish neighborhood playing with you as kids..especially when we would make mud pies outside. I enjoyed seeing you & Steve when I was in town & with Carolyn at Dodie's parties a couple of times. I am sure you will greatly miss Steve. I feel that the two of you were a great couple together....

Phyllis, I'm so sorry you lost Steve. I hope that as time goes by, you will find many ways to honor your good man.
