Not sure what to say?

It´s hard to believe that it´s been 11 years since Wags died. He was a great friend, fraternity brother, room mate and person. I can´t think of a better person. You are missed, brother.

I think of "my little" ( that is the way I referred to him as he was my little brother in Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity) often and miss his laugh and positive attitude. Wags was a great friend, husband, dad, fraternity brother, teacher, and loving person. I so wish I could have spent these golden years with him. I am sure we would have had the same fun as we did while at Shipp. Love to his family! Musky fraternity brother

Watching the City Island fireworks from the hill twice a summer with S. WAGs was a tradition. He would arrive on his PEE WEE Herman type bike, sit next to Elwood Kline, and enjoy the view. This summer I will keep that seat open in HONOR of this GREAT man and FRIEND.

It was a great pleasure to paint with Steve. We talked about many things and the hours seem to melt away. I feel very sad for his passing and will miss his friendship. My condolences to the Wagoner family.

I consider myself lucky to have had Steve Wags Wagoner as one of my closest friends and teammates during teen and college years. From those early years you could see the foundation for a truly special life being formed. The messages on this website are testimony to the man he became. My sympathies to Anne, Matt, Molly and Phil on the loss of a great and dear friend, father and husband.

When I learned of Steve's passing, I was truly shaken. How could we lose such a genuine and caring person. I can only reflect back to our high school days where he shined in all aspect of life. His faith and his drive to excel, were rewarded with blue ribbons and the admiration of all who knew him. He will be missed but has been and will always be in my thoughts. My sincerest condolences to the entire Wagoner family.

What can a say about such a caring great person. He and Tim were great friends and shared so many good times together. I knew Steve well from Ship and from teaching with him at Sporting Hill. He always had such a positive attitude and a kind heart. We now have one more angel watching over us.
Sincerely,
Janet Moses

My cousin-in-law, good friend, bike riding buddy and dinner companion for our family Easter and Thanksgiving feasts. I miss you and look forward to riding with you again someday in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Anne, Matt, Molly, Phil and your entire family. The world was a better place because of you.

I feel honored to have met Mr. Steve. He was the person who made everyone feel like you were his best friend and was always so happy to see us, he made everyone feel very special. Thank you and God has blessed us by sharing Mr. Steve.
