Sending you and family so much love, Mary Ellen. Wish I´d gotten to know Steve. He sounds like a very dear and precious man. Ann Williams

Mary Ellen and Girls, Jenger and I were so very sad to learn of Steve's passing, though when our Father calls us home, we have to go (my brother Greg went a year and 4 days ago, and I know that he and Steve/Viol are having fun getting to know one another). So sorry to hear this news. Steve was such a nice man. He was one of the first people that I met when I joined the SMU Mustang Club. He was always friendly and gracious every time I saw him. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him.

Steve was a special man and dedicated servant of our Lord and Savior. As a minority sport coach at SMU, I found Steve always providing a positive uplifting word when we ran into each other wandering the Halls of Moody Coliseum. He was a good friend and someone I will miss and someone the SMU community can never replace. I send out prayers of joy to his family, because He is now in the arms of His Savior. Dave Wollman

A very fine man has left us too soon. I´ve known Steve and the Wilenskys for most of my life, l am sorry to hear of Steve´s passing. I think often of Steve´s dad Leon, my first baseball coach, and I will remember Steve with respect - he gave a lot of his life to SMU and to St. John´s.
