Not sure what to say?

It is with much sadness I write this since I just discovered Steve passed in back 2023. I worked with Steve at KHEY radio in El Paso for a few years in the early 1970s. He had a great love of animals and always seemed to bring a new critter to the radio station on a frequent basis. Steve also had a mischievous side to him where he liked to play small pranks on coworkers and always brought a laugh to those around him at the radio station. Those pranks were never mean spiritied. But more...

I worked with Stephen at KDET around 1977. I will never forget accompanying him and his Himalayan Black Bear cub to Galveston Beach. I cherish the memories of a great friendship.

Worked with Steve at KPBC in Dallas. Loved him as a brother. He was such a joy to be around and we were constantly pranking/laughing with each other. I've thought about him many times through the years and was so grieved today when I googled him finding out he passed away. I SO regret not seeking him out earlier. I am comforted though I will see him again in eternity. I will MISS him greatly!

I worked with and for Steve for a couple of years at KBBW in the late 90´s. Such a great guy and Christian man.

Thank you Steve for the great years I had to work with you. It was truly a life changing experience. You always made time for me. Rest in peace.. James

We are greatly saddened to get this news. Please be assured of our prayers, Tammie, Ryan & all the Williams family. Steve´s constant smile, joy & compassion were blessings in our lives that we will never forget.

I worked for Steve at KBBW. He was a genuine person whom I admired very much.
