Not sure what to say?

Chris and all of Steve's family,
I want to extend my sincerest sympathy to you, and let you know that my prayers are with you.
I am one of Steve's many former graduate students who thought so much of him as a scholar, teacher, mentor, and friend. His challenging me got me through graduate school though he never gave me any answers. He always told me if I was or was not asking the right questions! That was part of why he was such a wonderful teacher. He seemed hard sometimes,...

Steve was a big part of my life and the father of my children. There has been and always will be a bond there. I will miss knowing that he is not there.
Janie

I was so sorry to hear of Steve's death. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Chris and Family,
As one of Steve's older cousins I grieve at the news of his death, particularly since I just moved to Cleveland only months ago. I had hoped to get to know him better since it has been the better part of 50 years since we played together on our grandparent's farm in Western Kansas.
Loss is always difficult, but I urge upon you the words of Saint John the Divine in Revelation 21 "3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is...

Chris & Family,
I am sorry that I don't know you. My memories of Steve are from days when we were all much younger and many cousins played together in Kansas at the farm of our grandparents. Those memories will never disappear. Steve was one of my older cousins and I understand from his family and many friends that he became a wonderful man. My sympathies are with you in your loss and I am certain that Steve is now happy and pain free in heaven.
A cousin,
Chestine

I AM SADDENED TO LEARN OF STEVE'S PASSING. HE WAS A GOOD MAN IN SCHOOL AND HE BECAME A GREAT MAN IN HIS LIFE TIME.

Chris and family,
Please know you are all in my prayers. May you find peace in knowing Steve is now in the arms of our Lord.

To Chris & Family, Jeff & Family, Erin & Family -

We share your grief and mourn with you. Although your grief and mourning will not soon pass away, we encourage you to celebrate Steve's life - as a husband, father, grandfather and friend. We shall celebrate his life as a brother and a friend.

Always hold dear in your hearts the words of our Savior in John 11:25-26 "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and...

Chris, Augusta, and Luisa,

Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
