My sincere condolences to all. Steve was a childhood friend. Ran into him several years ago at the Orange Fitness in Olney, MD. I spent a lot of time in his swimming pool. We attended the same church. We used to go fishing at Lake Needwood near his home. His mom and my mom are still great friends. My heart goes out to Steve’s family and Emily. Such a tragic loss.

The last time I saw Steve was two years ago at our Rockville High School reunion. We of course had a lively chat and this photo captures his shining spirit!

It’s so hard to believe that someone so full of life is gone. He was always fun and always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. We will not forget him.

I met Stephen because of OT and then eventually realized he and Emily were partners. I joined OT in Olney and was a founding member! Emily was my favorite coach and I can't stop thinking about her and his family. He was always so upbeat and positive the few times I saw him, but I knew he did great things. When I heard the news I just couldn't believe it. A tremendous loss and his memory will forever live on. My very deepest sympathies to his family and Emily.
