Steve will be missed by everyone who knew him. He made a great contribution to mankind. God bless his loved ones. I was one of his classmates in Cuero, TX.

I knew Steve at Cuero High School. We were good friends and, as I recall, went to the graduation parties together. I saw him a couple of times at Univ of TX, where we both went. Then saw him at one class reunion and much later reconnected on Facebook. He was the same delightful person all the way through. The world will be a lesser place without him.

Lisa I am so shocked. I was looking him up to get medical records and found it. I am so sorry Lisa I know he loved you dearly. He was a wonderful physician and a great friend. Remember the good times, the way his face would turn red when he laughed. He will be truly missed. He saved my life and kept me from having to have a pace maker. Dr. Young, saved my life in 1988. I was 45 years old and had hereditary heart disease. He did 3 angioplasties to keep me going until I could have open heart surgery. I, my husband and my entire family are grateful for the years of life that he has given me. I am now 72 years old and have celebrated my 50th wedding anniversary thanks to him. Sending prayer of comfort for your family in your time of sorrow. Dr. Young & I met in 1990 when I began working at Welborn CCU. He shared with us so much about the heart as RNs. He also became my cardiologist. I will always remember him as a great man of medicine!
