Stephen Zimmerman

Took introduction to legal reasoning and several other classes that Steve taught at St. Thomas when I was a student there. Had dinner with him on occasion. And, some great wine at his wine bar when it first opened. He was a great guy and my life was better from having known him.

I will forever be in Steve's debt: I came back from a semester in Spain completely addicted to espresso. And then I found Zimm's...I got my fix of espresso! Zimm's was our hangout.Made a life long friend there..then one time he was in front of me in line at the bank (we had a brief, but memorable chat) and he said when it is his turn and if he gets THAT teller, I was to go ahead of him...after dealing with her, I saw why! An ever so brief encounter, but it made a lasting impression on me..

We are very sorry about Steve´s death. He was a friend since we met at Tulane Law School and continued our friendship to the present.
