In the 1960's I served under (then) Major Barlow in the PIO office of Headquarters of the 83rd Infantry Division. I have some wonderful stories about those days. Major Barlow was considered a good friend and we had many good memories together on our summer camps and week-ends on duty in Cleveland. Fran and I offer our prayers to the family of Lt. Col. Barlow. (I never called him Sterling) Capt. Don Samuel, Asst. Div. PIO. [email protected].

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
