Uncle Sterling was always one to light up a room with positive energy. He was never without an excellent joke, interesting story about his traveling days, and a huge grin. As far as I know, he was simply not capable of frowning. I was proud to call him my Uncle. Aunt Kay, I know he is still with you every single day. He is very, very missed.

It doesn't seem the same going to visit Baton Rouge without visiting with Sterling. I loved sitting up with him at night listening to his stories and geneology discoveries. His wit, charm and general good company is greatly missed. I will continue to keep him in my praryers.

Dear Kay,
It's hard to believe that four years have passed since our beloved Sterling left this world. I will fondly remember all of the long conversations he shared with Richard and also with Mark Daniel. I recall his numerous witty expressions and great sense of humor. I will continue my prayers for his peace of soul in his new eternal home.
