Not sure what to say?

Got to admit I am a little (maybe more than a little) embarrassed posting so far removed from Rad´s (Charlie Mann´s) date of passing. Growing up on Philadelphia Avenue across the street he was my best friend up to and including parts of high school. As a pitcher for the Takoma Tigers 13-year-old baseball team, Rad was called on to pitch against the toughest opponent in the league playoffs. Rad pitched a complete game in victory enroute to the Takoma Tigers winning the Montgomery County championship. As Rad's catcher, I will always remember that shining moment among many in Rad's life. He was a great friend and member of the 1957 undefeated Takoma Tigers (24 Wins, 0 Losses).

Rad was a great guy. He always was smiling. Heartfelt sympathy is being sent to all his loveones near & far.

Sterling will be missed. My condolence to the family.
