Not sure what to say?

As Sterling's we shared so many pleasant, fun moments. My biggest memory is right before he transferred to home in his final day. He took my hand and kissed it and our eyes locked. A never forget moment for me. Joan,RN

Just learned of Sterling’s passing this life today from his daughter Stephanie. Although many years separated us, I considered Sterling a contemporary and friend. Great charm...great intellect. He had a big slice of the pie at 94.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father.

I could not have been more blessed and fortunate than to have Sterling Steves as a personal and professional mentor when I graduated from law school. Even 42 years later, this outstanding man's guidance and lessons still live on in my practice and public service. Godspeed, Sterling. You were very special.

I met Sterling in his waning months. At first there was lively greeting and interaction and then l saw it slow and change. He remained a charmer with kissing my hand being one of our interactions. He made an impression on my life.

Sterling was a super lawyer, outstanding community worker, my client and mostly a dear friend when I was a self-proclaimed private investigator without a high school education. Without his strong support, I could not have became a licensed lawyer without attending law school. I doubt that we will see the likes of Sterling for a long time to come.

Sterling was a great guy, Although I haven't seen him for many years,
I considered him a great friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to
his family.
