Sterling Michael Tanner M.D.

He was my son's endocrinologist as a toddler. He was able to quickly apply medicine to law, given that he was a MD JD. I'll never forget him saying that my son couldn't go to Iran, he might need....(common sense pick anything)...uh....growth hormone! Right! Growth hormone, he's a little short. My son ended up getting abducted to Iran anyway years later. Dr.-Attorney Tanner was the best for trying. RIP Dr. Tanner! -- Susan Knisely BSN, RN

He was my pediatrician, 40 years ago. I will always remember "blowing out" the light on the otoscope. Thank you for making the experience of having you forever stay with me.

Brother Tanner was my seminary teacher. He helped us memorize the scripture mastery verses in the old testament. he was a happy giving man. I remember having a party at his house and years later being invited over to his house for a steak. He was a good cook and pleasant even at 6 am in seminary. I'm friends with his son Matthew. I feel for you and love you.

I am so sad to read this!!! My family & I are moving back to Las Vegas & I was looking him up to make sure I could bring my daughter back to him for her diabetes!! He was wonderful with her! She is the first Dr she really liked after her diagnosis! My heart goes out to his whole family & his patients! He was for sure one of a kind!!
