Not sure what to say?

Remembering Mr. Whitener and family with fond memories. The memories of our time together in Hong Kong on Cambridge Road which is very near and dear to my heart. The time we shared together will never be forgotten. My prayers go out to you at this time. May the Lord that Mr whitener faithfully served be sufficient in your time of need. Prayerfully Sally (Ng) Coddington Friend of the Noren family

Thank you for sharing Sterling with me on our weekly trips to choir practice. I will forever remember these special times. Also remember, I am only a phone call away.

I loved the time I was allowed to spend with Sterling and Barbara at the cottage in Blowing Rock. Talking with Sterling always made me feel as though I was in the presence of spirit. He had such a joy for life and all that he experienced. I am a better person because I was allowed time with him.

Glory to God for the faithful and outstanding life and ministry of Sterling Whitener, and of course, also, of Barbara! My love to all the family.

Barbara, I was so sorry to hear of Sterling's Homegoing--yet I rejoice for him being in the presence of our Lord! I pray comfort, peace, and strength for you all. As Walter would have said, "Corragio!"

Oh, we're so sorry he's gone. Barbara, here are hugs. We are out of town and cannot return in time for the service. We will be there in spirit.

What an accomplished and loving man who indeed left a wonderful world-wide legacy. Honored to have known him. Beth & Craig Weaver, High Country UCC.
