Not sure what to say?

As Sterling's dental hygienist for the last 7 years I can't begin to tell you how much I will miss this sweet, gentle man. Having just seen him last month it's hard to believe I won't see his smiling face in our dental office again. He always had a big hug for me, and of course a great joke or two. Ms. Louise he talked of you so often and loved you so dearly. My prayers for you and your family. I will miss him dearly.
Sincerely,

Louise, it was a shock to read about Sterling's death...I'm so glad I got to see him during my last visit to Athens. So many fond memories of knowing "Sterl;" from meeting him at Heery's firm 50 years ago, to working in his office, to playing pool in your home. I will sorely miss him on future visits to Athens. My heart goes out to you, dear "Lucy."

The stories my daddy would tell about his and Sterling's exploits growing up together in Quincy! ... piecing together a Model T/Model A (?) that actually made the trips between Gainesville & Quincy when they were at UF together... mischief but clean fun... a friendship only interrupted by my dad's predeceasing Sterling by 5 years. I'm sure Eddie Embry was one of the first to welcome his dear friend. Sterling was a gentleman as well a gentle man, with one righteous tennis game! My thoughts...

Please accept our sincere condolences,

Love to all. Sterling was wonderful to me and my sisters.

Louise and family,

We are so sorry to hear about Sterling's death. Going through photos recently, we came across a few from years ago with Sterling's pool table as the backdrop. Laughs, not smiles, were on everyone's face-in every picture. That is how I always remember time spent with the Wilhoits. Sterling was a great man, kind and gracious, and he will be missed by so many.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

With Deepest Sympathy and sincerest thoughts and prayers to Louise and family, he was a true Gentleman.

Louise and family, I can't begin to tell you how sorry Garry and I were to hear about Sterling death. He was such a Wonderful, Caring, and Loving Man to you and his family, and he also made his friends feel that love. We have sooo many special and cherished memories of Sterling. He will live on in our hearts, always. Louise, we are praying that God will be with you during this most difficult time....We Love You, Barbara & Garry Whitman ( Macon, GA.)

Mr. Wilhoit will greatly missed. We are praying for your family and the loss of such a wonderful man..Athena Dental Associates
