Steve Allsup

Lloyd Stephen "Steve" Allsup was born October 1, 1955 in Denver City, TX the son of Lloyd Allsup and Anna Belle (Dunn) Allsup and had lived for the past 12 years in Boswell. He departed this life on August 27, 2014 at the age of 58 years, 10 months, and 26 days. His parents preceded him in death. Steve was a member of the NHRA and was of the Baptist faith. He loved going fast, flying, boats and hot rods. He also loved motorcycles and enjoyed farming and ranching. Most importantly he wanted to "make progress". He married Misty Redfern on January 21, 2008. Survivors include: his wife, Misty Allsup; three daughters, Stephenia Bennett and husband, Travis of Brownfield, TX, Shay Ann Lowrey and husband, Shane of Plains, TX and Megan Cowart and husband, Eric of Lubbock TX; four grandchildren, Madison Bennett, Ashlynn Bennett, Braleigh Lowrey and Allee Cowart along with many other relatives and friends. VISITATION: the family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M.
